Our objectives

Higher education, research, innovation and technology transfer are keys elements of business creation, value and sustainable jobs.

The CSTL’s aim is to assist the process of economic development of the Lorraine area by the introduction of technology startups from scientific and technological research of Eastern countries.

M Jean-Pierre Masseret, Chairman of Lorraine Regional Council, mentions that the CSTL’s associations carried by the Regional Council and French industry  is a major and innovative act for the localization in Lorraine of new innovation projects.

The CSTL seeks primarily to foster partnerships in three scientific and technologic major areas:

-      materials and developed processes

-      health technologies

-      Eco innovation.

Through its network of local correspondents and an active technologic watch device backing its network of French and European experts, the CSTL collects and validates continuous technological opportunities of first value that Lorraine companies can take.

With its experience in technology transfer (partners research, technological opportunities research, market research, prospective watch, financial engineering …), the CSTL proposes partnership opportunities to Russian and Ukrainian researchers with Lorraine industrial and academic sectors with efficiency and competency.

In Russia and the Ukraine, in the most prestigious institutes such as the most isolated, known, in scientific parks, in Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tomsk, Novosibirsk and in many major scientific and industrial cities, we are in contact with innovation project holders, academic researchers, entrepreneurs in the field of high technologies or creators of technology startups. They are looking for partners and accelerators for growth in European Union. We introduce to them to the Lorraine Region, its technological and scientific potential and its commitment to partnership.

The CSTL provides its support to:

-      The economic, technical and scientific assessment of their project;

-      The partners research with a special help to start the commercialization of selected projects;

-      The concrete support in their approach to the market and their location;

-      The realization of all their economic and technical studies prior to their location;

-      The financial engineering to create innovative companies;
